What is the difference between let only and full management?

In brief, our let-only service includes marketing the property, viewings, referencing, and tenancy agreements. Once we have found a suitable tenant we pass it back to you to manage. 

Our Full management Package includes all of the above plus a full inventory, inspection rota, and 24-hour maintenance response, as well as getting the initial let fee heavily discounted.

Do you offer discount on management if I have multiple properties?

Yes! Here at Easy Let, we offer a multi-property discount if you plan on letting more than one home through our agency. This can vary depending on how many houses you have, but it usually saves landlords between £30-£80 per month.

What happens if my tenant damages my property?

If the person renting damages your property and fails to meet the standard outlined in the agreed tenancy agreement, we can apply to the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) to claim part or all of the deposit. This must be done within 10 days of the end of the tenancy, and you will likely need a signed inventory in place.

Under our full management package, Easylet will complete a pre-check-out report – this is done two weeks before the end of the tenancy and allows us to remind the tenant that the property must be fully cleaned throughout. This includes a tidy house and garden, and anything that surpasses fair wear and tear must be rectified before their tenancy ends.

How do I switch to a different letting agency?

If you are unhappy with the service you are receiving, you should contact your letting agency and inform them of your concerns.

Most agencies will require up to 3 months’ notice, however, it is worth checking your T&Cs. If your current agency has failed to meet certain requirements, such as regular inspections, this would be a breach of contract and give you a reason to terminate immediately.
